Director of the UW Oshkosh Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Oshkosh
Looking for an outgoing individual with experience in the startup community. The Director of the UW Oshkosh Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) will work closely with students to help validate their business idea, consult people in the community through the SBDC, and expand current CEI programs. This position reports to the Ex Dir of the CEI and Dir of the SBDC. Must be self-motivated, professional and have the ability to develop networks that enhance the resources of the center.
Medical Technology Program Director (Internal Search) Oshkosh
The Director for the Medical Technology and Radiologic Science Programs is a 1.0 FTE 12-month position. This person will be responsible for teaching courses for the Medical Technology to include pre-clinical courses and supervision of clinical internships. Administrative responsibilities to include supervision and management of Medical Technology office, supervision of Radiologic Science Program, advising Medical Technology majors, oversight of student internship processes for Medical Technology and Radiologic Science, student and hospital affiliate recruitment for Medical Technology and Radiologic Science, and arranging hospital visits for Medical Technology. This position is responsible for negotiating with hospital affiliates for clinical internships and annual renewal of contractual relationships for both programs. The Director will attend Math/Science division and L&S Council meetings to represent the programs.

Dean of Students Office Manager Oshkosh
The Dean of Student Office Manager performs a series of key project, managerial and administrative tasks under the immediate direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students and oversees the work for 5-8 student employees. In this capacity, the incumbent must exercise a significant degree of independence and latitude for decision-making. This incumbent works under minimal supervision and develops her/his work schedule in conjunction with the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students to meet program requirements. This position provides administrative and program support for Accessibility Services as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In all areas of responsibility, the position requires the incumbent the ability to independently organize and prioritize work of considerable difficulty, meet multiple and concurrent deadlines; pay close attention to details; quickly adjust to and independently resolve problems. In this position, the incumbent is required to work the first two weeks each of the fall and spring academic semesters, in addition to normal business hours. The incumbent may not take vacation two weeks before the start of the fall semester. The individual in this position must be able to provide exceptional customer service and balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment that values student growth and development and be prepared to assist students in times of crisis or with sensitive concerns.

Inventory Control Coordinator Oshkosh
Reporting to the Facilities Management Office Manager, this position is responsible for Central Stores customer service, sales, and record keeping; purchasing and inventory control of supplies (cleaning, automotive, building, custodial, electrical, printing) worth an estimated $480,000 per year; warehouse responsibilities, and equipment operation. Duties include the use of an inventory control software program as well as order entry software to record received and sold products, generate reports, determine prices, stock levels, inventory and adjustments, requisition supplies, billing, vendor contact; audit invoices, shipping documents; plan, direct and/or deliver received goods to on and off campus locations; provide basic record keeping; perform general warehouse duties; supervise temporary and student workers; assist in warehouse planning, disposal of campus surplus property as well as operate the campus recycling center. A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is used to generate correspondence and reports; email to send and receive messages. Working knowledge of WISDM, SFS and Vendornet is desired. Applicant must be customer service oriented, able to work independently and as a member of the Facilities team. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized by Risk Management to drive a University vehicle upon appointment; must be able to obtain the forklift operator certification within six months of appointment. This position will require a criminal background investigation. Normal hours of work are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Academic Department Associate Oshkosh
This position serves as primary administrative and program support for the Chair and Associate Chair of the English Department, and assists the Director of Master of Arts Program as necessary. Independently and with minimum supervision, this position is responsible for scheduling Department meetings, Administrative Group meetings, the production and maintenance of class scheduling, gathering and analyzing University data for reports, acting as project manager for department and faculty development projects, managing Department of English budgets, assigning department advisors, communicating with English majors/minors as necessary, and coordinating the Department's undergraduate and graduate program reviews as needed every seven years.

Regional Supervisor of Facilities Management Oshkosh
The Regional Supervisor of Facilities Management position is a full-time Limited appointment. The Supervisor reports to, and serves at the pleasure of, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Director of Facilities Management Operations and has frequent interaction with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Director of Facilities Planning and Construction and Campus Administrators for each campus. As the primary regional administrator in charge of buildings and grounds, the Supervisor will work under the guidance of staff in the UW Oshkosh Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration. The Supervisor is responsible for campus and regionally-based coordination of all planning and management matters pertaining to facilities, workforce, budget, maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds keeping. The Supervisor will maintain strong relationships with counties and cities within the region, which sponsor UW Colleges campuses, and will work frequently with them on matters involving continuous care and improvement of facilities. There is an expectation that the Supervisor will frequently meet and interact with relevant campus stakeholders at both of the campuses within the region and with the Regional Leadership Council.

Director of Residence Life Oshkosh
The Director of Residence Life is responsible for the administrative leadership of the on-campus residential life program and for fostering a student living environment that supports and complements the mission of the university. Residence Life has a revenue generating capacity of 3,100 in 10 residence halls with 570,125 square feet of living space (4,015,961 gross square footage across all residence halls) and an operating budget of $17.5 million. Furthermore, the Director supervises the Gruenhagen Conference Center, a full-service, year-round conference center that annually supports approximately 85 conferences and groups. The Director has responsibility for supervision of personnel, management of fiscal resources, facility operations and use, problem solving, administration of room assignments, and review, development and implementation of policies and programs impacting the on-campus living community. The Director must also ensure that students are involved in shared student governance by maintaining positive working relationships and active involvement with hall governance. The Director will supervise and participate in after-hours on-call emergency response and will be required to attend weekend and evening events.
Research Specialist Oshkosh
This position is for technical support of a parasite life cycle involving ticks and rodents for the NIH/NIAID Filariasis Research Reagent Resource Center (FR3) ( The successful applicant will conduct technical and surgical manipulations used for life cycle propagation, technique optimization related to arthropod rearing and rodent infection, and animal care and use documentation. This person will provide support for ordering and tracking shipments and optimizing parasite recovery from both hosts.
