Director of Undergraduate Admissions Oshkosh
Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, the director of undergraduate admissions is responsible for the overall leadership of the Undergraduate Admissions Office including: outreach and recruitment, application processing and admission decisions, international student recruitment and admission, professional and support staff supervision, budget oversight and development, admissions policy development and implementation, data and trend analysis, and strategic planning for the purpose of meeting University outreach, recruitment, admission, and enrollment goals. The director will provide vision regarding personnel structure in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, devising and/or revising position descriptions as necessary to optimize outcomes. The director will research and monitor state and inter/national trends in higher education that will impact institutional enrollment goals, and will recommend strategies to achieve strategic enrollment goals. The director will serve as a trusted liaison with university administrators and other campus constituents to promote a sense of institutional ownership for the outreach, recruitment, admission, and enrollment process. In collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research, this position will also provide weekly analysis and reporting of admissions activity for the purpose of monitoring and accomplishing strategic enrollment goals.
Academic Department Associate Oshkosh
This is a 1.0 FTE position that provides administrative, clerical, and program support for the Chemistry Department (.75 FTE) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Outreach program (.25 FTE). The qualified candidate will work independently to assure that a wide range of deadlines are met, assisting and advising the Chair, Director, faculty, staff, and students in both unites, as necessary. The position requires the use of a large variety of software packages. General responsibilities include administrative support, fiscal administration, enrollment management and advising, and human resources support. Normal hours of work are Monday through Friday between 7:45 am and 4:30 pm with generally 6 hours in Chemistry and 2 hours in STEM Outreach each day; some flexibility in scheduling is available. The person must also be available for occasional day-long and/or week-end events for STEM Outreach.

Work assignments require knowledge of enterprise information applications, process improvement techniques and tools, and IT service design. The individual will support multiple specialized applications and serve as subject matter expert.
