||Under the direction of Assistant Chancellor Anne Milkovich, this position supports the project management work of the institutional restructuring joining the UW-Fox Valley and UW-Fond du Lac campuses with UW Oshkosh. The project work is expected to last for one to two years. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply. Employees may be eligible to take a leave of absence and return to their original position at the conclusion of this appointment; pending current supervisor approval.
40% - Support the project management work of the restructuring, including meeting scheduling and note-taking, organizing and maintaining documents, following up on action items, tracking down information, writing reports and related tasks.
30% - Develop project management plans and tools, independently or with direction and training from experienced project managers as needed.
30% - Coordinate and communicate among multiple teams to ensure effective follow through and issue resolution. Sort, prioritize, and escalate issues as appropriate to the project leadership. Facilitate decision and issue resolution at appropriate levels.
||Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skilled in verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in organizational and critical thinking skills.
Skilled in attention to detail and follow through.
Skilled in interpersonal diplomacy in working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize among diverse assignments, escalate and resolve issues, and operate under tight deadlines.
Ability to exercise considerable discretion and confidentiality on sensitive matters.
Experience in analyzing and synthesizing a variety of information to create reports and documents in a variety of formats.
Aptitude and interest in learning project management tools and techniques.
||Experience working with or supporting multiple complex projects.
Experience developing and working with project management tools and techniques.
Knowledge of higher education or similar complex organizations.
