Director of the UW Oshkosh Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Oshkosh
Looking for an outgoing individual with experience in the startup community. The Director of the UW Oshkosh Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) will work closely with students to help validate their business idea, consult people in the community through the SBDC, and expand current CEI programs. This position reports to the Ex Dir of the CEI and Dir of the SBDC. Must be self-motivated, professional and have the ability to develop networks that enhance the resources of the center.
Medical Technology Program Director (Internal Search) Oshkosh
The Director for the Medical Technology and Radiologic Science Programs is a 1.0 FTE 12-month position. This person will be responsible for teaching courses for the Medical Technology to include pre-clinical courses and supervision of clinical internships. Administrative responsibilities to include supervision and management of Medical Technology office, supervision of Radiologic Science Program, advising Medical Technology majors, oversight of student internship processes for Medical Technology and Radiologic Science, student and hospital affiliate recruitment for Medical Technology and Radiologic Science, and arranging hospital visits for Medical Technology. This position is responsible for negotiating with hospital affiliates for clinical internships and annual renewal of contractual relationships for both programs. The Director will attend Math/Science division and L&S Council meetings to represent the programs.
Residence Hall Director-Evans Hall Oshkosh
The Residence Hall Director (RHD) is responsible for the welfare and development of students in the residence hall. The primary goal is the development of residential communities supportive of personal growth, academic achievement and respect for the rights of others. The RHD strives to foster individual and community development by means of: individual and group advising, staff supervision and training, appropriate role modeling, performance of administrative functions and participation as a fully functioning member of the professional Residence Life Staff Team. Additionally, the Evans RHD will be work with department-wide programming initiatives.
Project Analyst (Internal Search) Oshkosh
Under the direction of Assistant Chancellor Anne Milkovich, this position supports the project management work of the institutional restructuring joining the UW-Fox Valley and UW-Fond du Lac campuses with UW Oshkosh. The project work is expected to last for one to two years. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply. The Dean of Student Office Manager performs a series of key project, managerial and administrative tasks under the immediate direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students and oversees the work for 5-8 student employees. In this capacity, the incumbent must exercise a significant degree of independence and latitude for decision-making. This incumbent works under minimal supervision and develops her/his work schedule in conjunction with the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students to meet program requirements. This position provides administrative and program support for Accessibility Services as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In all areas of responsibility, the position requires the incumbent the ability to independently organize and prioritize work of considerable difficulty, meet multiple and concurrent deadlines; pay close attention to details; quickly adjust to and independently resolve problems. In this position, the incumbent is required to work the first two weeks each of the fall and spring academic semesters, in addition to normal business hours. The incumbent may not take vacation two weeks before the start of the fall semester. The individual in this position must be able to provide exceptional customer service and balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment that values student growth and development and be prepared to assist students in times of crisis or with sensitive concerns.
