Media Specialist Oshkosh
This position works with the staff of the Division of Online & Continuing Education (OCE) to promote the division through social media, the website, and outreach communications. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, organized individual to join our team. Director of Equal Opportunity, Equity and Affirmative Action Oshkosh
The Director of Equal Opportunity, Equity and Affirmative Action reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action and also has a dotted line to the Chancellor. In this capacity, the Director provides leadership in recommending, developing, and implementing policies, procedures and programs regarding all aspects of affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, equity, diversity, and employee disability. This position monitors compliance with affirmative action and EEO policies and procedures, and recommends corrective measures in instances of non-compliance. In addition, the Director receives, reviews, and investigates complaints of discrimination and harassment, works with employees on disability accommodations, and may, if requested, assist the Chancellor on other types of complaints or grievances against faculty and staff. This position fosters an environment of respect for the dignity and worth of all members of the University community including students, employees, and guests of the University.
Laboratory Manager Oshkosh
The Medical Laboratory Manager oversees all laboratory operations for the Student Health Center and provides a wide variety of standard laboratory tests. This position requires independence, expertise in laboratory science and a commitment to maintaining certification standards and following governmental regulations which apply to laboratory practice.
Academic Department Associate (Foreign Languages & Literatures) Oshkosh
This is a .80 position that provides administrative and program support to the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Working independently and in collaboration with the Department Chair, this position performs various responsibilities in support of the daily operation of the department. Schedule to be discussed with supervisor, but consists of reduced hours during the summer.
Academic Advisor Oshkosh
The SSS Advisor provides support for an assigned caseload of student participants in the areas of academic advising, life skills development, student success development, career planning, financial literacy, and financial aid and scholarship assistance. In addition, the advisor will assist in the development and implementation of project services under the direction of the program director and in collaboration with the other SSS/SSS STEM staff members. This includes the development, overall direction, and evaluation of the Peer Mentoring program for second-year students in concert with another SSS/SSS STEM advisor.
New Student Application and Records Coordinator Oshkosh
The New Student Application and Records Coordinator position coordinates the preparation of nearly 18,000 application records annually in an office environment that emphasizes timely customer service. There is frequent contact with prospective and current students, university staff, academic staff, faculty, and administrators. The position reports to the Associate Director of Admissions and works 40 hours per week.
